Redirecting to localhost works. I have just checked with one of my FB apps.


In your FB app page go to: settings | advanced and add 
"http://localhost/darktable_fb_oauth/"; to the field "Valid OAuth 
redirect URIs".

Then use "http://localhost/darktable_fb_oauth/"; as redirect_uri in your 
oauth call.

There's no need for any service running on localhost, since we are only 
interested in the uri.

The user still has to copy-paste the uri into darktable.
