they do the redirect with a HTTP redirect (302), there is no javascript, but

redirect URIs".
Then use "http://localhost/darktable_fb_oauth/"; as redirect_uri in your
oauth call.
There's no need for any service running on localhost, since we are only
interested in the uri.
The user still has to copy-paste the uri into darktable.
