This looks like a wrong detection of the DPI for the printer. Please try to print which darktable launched with: $ darktable -d print The DPI should be displayed. Does it matches the actual DPI of the printer? Do you have the same issue when printing in a PDF? (you need to install cups-pdf and select the PDF printer).
