I first saw this when I changed my core option of 'demosaic display' but I have 
since re-tested with all of those options and cannot regain the under warning. 
I believe it was working just fine prior to my messing with this option.

I have pulled down an image to total black (-10 exposure) and no indicator 
shows. I have tried the other color combinations without any change.

I have just updated from the daily opensuse version and there is no change in 
the situation.
