I reported a problem recently in applying metadata automatically during import ... it appears that my system did not display the "apply metadata on import" element within the import window. for that reason and others I rebuilt my system and moved over to Gnome from KDE hoping for better conformation with dt.
I now have a dual problem. I am unable to import directly from the camera (Fuji X100S) but have to import indirectly using the camera storage medium. A totally new problem.
