If working on a single picture, just select the first line at the bottom of the stack then click "compress history" and you're done : the whole stack is being deleted. If you applied wrong settings to a module say, in the middle of the stack, go to the top of the stack, then invoque the module once more with the right settings, then click on to "compress history".
