A bit late to the party here...  but I also have a 5D Mark IV and would
love to get it supported...   Do you ever get any of the images you need?
In terms of over-exposed highlights - what's the best way to ensure that?
If I just look at the histogram on camera and see some bunching up on the
right side is it enough?

I have access to a web server, so I can drop the files in a big zip there
if that works for you...
