According to the manual section on exporting images [1]
<http://www.darktable.org/usermanual/ch02s03s12.html.php>, you should be
able to do this entirely with Darktable -- you can use the "Max size"
option for downscaling and the "Style" option for applying additional
sharpening, etc., during the export.
