hi.  i'm running 2.2.4 (see below).  it now nicely decompresses my
images from my Leica Monochrom, but doesn't find an appropriate color
matrix

and, the one it chooses gives me a less-(more?-)than-monochrome
experience.

if i enter the darkroom, choose "input color profile" (from "more
modules"), then again (the sub) "input color profile", and, under
"profile", select "BRG (for testing)", i get something that certainly
looks monochrome.  but, having no clue what BRG is, etc., i'm not sure
that's the path.

is there an obvious path to proceed?  i looked a bit at

but i'm not sure if this procedure is true, necessary, optimal, for a
monochrome image.  any advice would be appreciated!
