Yes, let's see. I “went” through a lot of kernel changes with this setup, from Ubuntu stock to mainline 4.10/11/12 and back (in order to get some weird Gigabyte BIOS to boot with the new Ryzen 7), and amdgpu-pro OpenCL still worked. amdgpu is in the kernel, so no need for module recompile (that's one reason I prefer it over nvidia…). -- Šarūnas Burdulis math.dartmouth.edu/~sarunas
