Just to add to this, there is a *LOT* of work being done on amd open-source drivers. If you don't need opencl, but only opengl, then for at *least^ two years, it is fully-functional,
There is a *LOT* of amdgpu changes happening in LLVM. Once complete, AMD *will* have even better open-source support.
