with a way to have better interaction there. I failed.
The important thing here is a way to give input focus to a slider.
Each slider has label and a displayed value over the actual slider. A
mouse click on the label could be used to give it focus without changing
the value.
It would make keyboard input to a slider slightly more complicated
adding a click to the process, but at least it would make it possible.
Currently you have to right click two times. Or use the scroll wheel in two
opposing directions once each. Not ideal, I know. But removing the region
where the label is from the space where the slider value can be set will make
it quite hard to set low values with the mouse.
A double right click does it, but its a visual disturbance.
Moving the mouse wheel works with a mouse, but not with a touchpad which
gives a totally different result, with a more continuous change of
values, making it all but impossible to do/undo something quickly. You
will end with a different value anyway.
Too bad this got 'fixed' because for me it wasn't broken at all before :-(
