Hi,

You have 2 ways to proceed:
1. From Gimp
Open the raw file
it calls darktable
edit in darktable
leave darktable WITHOUT exporting the picture
You get the picture in the Gimp windows as edited in darktable

2. From Darktable
Open the raw file
Edit the raw
Export it wiht "Edit with Gimp" (lua script)
It opens Gimp with the edited file from darktable (choose the correct file
type you want to edit with Gimp).

So you have 2 ways with quite the same result depending of what is the
center of your workflow.

But the way you tried is incorrect, it opens darktable from gimp and then
open gimp from darktable...

Regards

Jean-Luc
