Your Mint version of the package liblensfun-bin that include lensfun-update-data was probably up to date but not the lens database. That's exactly what lensfun-update-data is for: update the lens *database*

Cheers.

That was it! /lensfun-update-data/ Thanks Ulrich :)

I'm always keen on keeping all software up to date, therefore always update immediately as soon as Linux Mint Software Updater mentions there is an update available. But lensfun doesn't seem to be part of that.

Maybe a problem with your installation of lensfun on which darktable's lens correction relies. I would try to update the lensfun database by running lensfun-update-data.

I can't. The dropdown only shows Nikon, and then only this lens.
I'm using the D850.
