Yes ofcourse, but perhaps I'm not being clear enough.
The darkening only sometimes happens and in each case with the module ON.
So:
- i have an image that looks nice but i want to see how it looks with filmic
- i turn the module *on* and choose preset 10 EV which gives me the same
image but with just a little bit more contrast
- i turn it off and don't do anything else with other modules
- i turn it *on* again and the image is not what it used to be but much
much darker
So what i'm saying is that with the module *on* it can give me two
different images: one normal and one much darker.
It seems to be happening at random. It can be okay for a few times, than
darker, then i have to switch it off and on again.

I just updated DT to 2.6.1, tried one of the Filmic presets, turning it
on an off and on etc.
Doing this, the images become too dark suddenly (bottom half of the
screenshot), then the next time I turn it on it's normal again (top half
of the image) etc. I can do this multiple times and it will keep on
changing from normal to too dark and back to normal. Just by turning the
module on.off.on.off.on etc.

Depending on the parameters of the filmic module, that can be perfectly
normal:
e.g. a strong preference for the shadows will brighten those considerably,
same when you lower the halfway luminosity, or play with the black point
slider.
