Hello Thank you but I uninstalled deleted everything I could find associated with darktable. I than went to the registry delete evething that had darktable in it. I than went back reinstall darktable 3.0 after not bothering with it for 3 days and it is now working but it does appear that I have lost everything I had from 2.6 so am starting from scratch.
