Just a short summary, maybe the actual point got lost: The repository at http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/graphics:/darktable/xUbuntu_18.04/ to be more precise, the deb package http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/graphics:/darktable/xUbuntu_18.04/amd64/darktable_2.6.2-1.1_amd64.deb contains a darktable 3.0.0, although it's called 2.6.2. Is my observation correct, or have I completely blown a fuse? I seriously think I have installed from this repository, and my dt clearly says version 3.0.0. Or I need a long long holiday...
