I have noticed this same behavior on MacOS. I have NOT re-ordered the modules
As an example I was working on an image using tone equalizer, then opened color balance to change saturation. When I started to try and adjust individual sliders in HSL or RGBL the image went completely black. Resetting the module still left everything black. I turned the module off and the image returned to normal, as soon as I turn it on the image goes black, even without making any adjustments. Similarly, using local contrast had the same effect. It was fine then suddenly while making adjustments everything went black, not I can't even turn it on without the image going black. I have found if I switch to bilateral grid it works, but local laplacian does not.
