Hello,

I am using (learning) darktable 3.02 on Windows 10.  With the (recently introduced) preview window and the darkroom window on the same monitor there is clear tone/color difference that even can be visibly captured in a screen shot. (Before, when displaying on separate monitors, I assumed it was a monitor calibration problem).

I guess/hope the darkroom window provides the more reliable colors.  Is this known/recognized ?

Marc.

I can reproduce something like that in Linux also - if it's the same scenario, then it looks like "user error" ;)

In the bottom line of darkroom on the right side there are some symbols (light bulb, color squares etc.), the forth one is like a horse-shoe. Right click on that and look for the 2nd and 3rd entry: they are for the color profiles of the two windows and should be the same when both windows are placed on the same monitor.

Hope that helps :)
