Hi Bernhard,
you got me all excited about this enhance detail feature in
Lightroom. It sounded like Adobe recently had done something worthwhile
with LR . So I upgraded lightroom, opened an image and activated the
enhance detail feature. Now despite having an 8th generation I7 laptop I
have achieved nothing more than a spinning circle in LR. However, I did
look at this review
https://elialocardi.com/adobe-lightroom-camera-raw-enhance-details-review/
and it seems if you have a Fuji X-Trans Sensors then it can make
significant fine detail improvements. However, very little improvement from
Bayer sensor images. He supplied before and after images.
So LR still spins and I once again will return to using Darktable for
editing and Lightroom for cataloging.
