Subject: [darktable-user] Vignette tool
To: darktable-user <[email protected]>

Hi all,

It seems that the vignette tool has the axes locked to either vertical or
horizontal. Is there any way that the axes could be free to rotate?

Something which I have found to be useful in some shots is to make the
subject look like they are caught in a searchlight using the Vignette
tool. By using an ellipse on the vertical axis I can simulate a street
light. If using a horizontal axis I can simulate a headlight of a car with
a long ellipse. But I would like to use an axis running diagonally. Can
that be done at present?
