I don't have an answer to your problem, I just noticed your 2) follow up. I
get these every time I open a tiff from DT in Gimp. Doesn't seem to matter
much, but something is not perfect. Sorry, but I'm just a bit obcessed with
tiff files at the moment. If you read my other thread about tiff files from
Macrofusion and Gimp You'll understand.
