After reading your message I found I have similar issue with my Tamron 17-50 (pentax). In Exif is identified as: Tamron AF 17-50mm F2.8 XR Di-II LD (Model A16) But in lensfun database I found entry for : Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 XR Di II LD So, "AF" and "(Model A16)" is different Now my question is: Is this an issue in lensfun? How darktable uses lensfun? Is there a way to workaround inside dt or better is to submit a bug to lensfun? The strange is in lens correction plugin I can see camera and lens data, but no correction is applied, and is not clear that my lens is not recognized. I think a note in the plugin could help to found unmanaged lens.
