exposure works in scene-referred linear camera rgb (mimicking more
photons coming in), levels works in Lab (perceptually linear) and also
corrects color contrast after adjusting luminance.

you can check the overall execution order of your modules in the right
panel, it goes bottom to top (and the histogram is at the end). by
unselecting the group button (press it again) you'll get all modules
in one big list. between `input color profile' and `output color
profile' everything is in Lab.
