Hello, I use Darktable 1.1.1 on my iMac with Ubuntu 12.10 (64-bit). After importing photos like tiffs, jpg and sometimes CR2 no previews are created. Some CR2 are correctly imported. I see gray boxes with the file extension displayed. In the middle of my screen I see the message 'busy...' Some photos show a skull.
When I close Darktable it hang and i need a forced shutdown. After restart the photos are not imported. As a professional photographer I like to migrate totally to Darktable, but I am unable to do so at the moment. What information can I provide to solve the issue?
