Hello, The following error occurerd when importing files:

Hi Patrick, did you try the debug version to see what goes wrong? Also you might want to disable OpenCL. OpenCL bugs could cause issues that can hang or crash you iMac without being properly caught by the OS. run the same Ubuntu version but on a HP laptop (i7, 8GB RAM). I do get some crashes when applying some filters, but that's temporary, I can do the operation after restarting darktable. I blame that background backup system ;^).
