Hi, this issue is related to an old configuration file. I just renamed the old darktablerc (which i am using since 0.9.x) and it worked then.
The migration 1.1.x 1.2 worked less well than the upgrades before, there where minor glitches (overexposed shortcut worked not any more, recently used collections have not been migrated) like this one. Maybe users should drop their darktablerc before an upgrade? I am trying to identify the configuration entry which causes the bug, meld/diffuse i am coming!
