Hi I'm new to this and reading the manual with interest. One thing that I was looking for in the manual is a brief explanation of what the 'import' process does. Does it just collect metadata and add that to the database? Or does it make a copy of the image and stuff it somewhere? If someone can explain I'm happy to turn it around and send a patch for the manual...
