Just to add. There is already an "invert" button close to the parametric mask that will do this for you: it inverts all channel polarities, toggles between inclusive and exclusive and additionally toggles the inversion of the final mask. As a consequence the final mask will stay the same - however, the net effect is that you have switched between the inclusive and exclusive mode this way. Now you would either include missing parts with a drawn mask in inclusive mode or exclude parts with a drawn mask in exclusive mode. What is missing currently: the drawn mask by default will not change. All shapes will have "positive" polarity - the part within the shape is slected the rest not. To make full use of what you want to do, we need an option to also toggle the polarity of the drawn mask.
