dowloading a script and enabling it is a higher barrier than integrating it
in core, but I consider it low enough that people should be able to do it...
moreover there is a mechanism allowing us to distribute some lua scripts in
the source tarball/install them with DT if we ever want to. The debug tool
script is distributed that way.
The problem with a checkbox is that it adds stuff to the core for one
particular workflow and there are as many workflows as there are users.
there are a couple of thinks that can be done to simplify the export a bit
(like "command to run on each image" configuration option implemented via
lua) but it all needs to be done by someone :P
I'll look into the export callback ASAP, it shouldn't be too hard since I
have the code somewhere...
