I'm hoping Willem didn't literally mean "rename" but a stable alias that
would be used for display purposes and export.  I think it would be
reasonable to require that any such aliases not conflict with the
built-in name and that the built-in name would always get exported (with
the same value) along with the alias.

(From my POV there's not much win with this idea, either, but it would
save a toolchain step for someone who really cares about naming.)
