One alternative, if you decide you really don't want to use DT to do the 
moving, would be to simply create a soft link with the name of the old image 
directory, pointing to the new one. This might be a good or bad idea depending 
on your system configuration/usage. Another possibility, if the external drive 
is going to be used *only* for your image library, would be to simply make the 
old image directory the mount point for the drive. Of course, both of these 
options assume you were not going to be leaving any files in the old location, 
but rather moving all of them.
