The only way I know of is to increase the size of the side panels. You do this through the preferences, gui options tab, set "width of the side panels in pixels" to your liking and restart darktable to apply the change. > And a way to run stable and beta darktable concurrently. I don't think you can have multiple instances of darktable running at the same time, though if you use the --library flag to specify separate databases for each instance then it might work.
