I run darktable 1.5+1409~gf485bfe (Ubuntu 14.04). Oftentimes when I import
a folder with photos that is several months old Darktable overwrites the
XMP files with new, fresh ones. I then need to restore the original XMP
files from an external HD (where I keep a backup of all my photos) and
import the folder again. Is there a way to avoid that?
