Film rolls are removed when they no longer contain any images. So: * Open the film roll * Select all images * Under "selected image[s]" on the right hand side, click remove. > 2) How can I rename a film roll inside Darktable? AFAIK you can't. A film roll name comes from the name of the directory you imported. > 3) How can I tell Darktable that I have copied the film roll (folder in > my file systems) to another place? Remove all of the images from the old film roll (as above) and import them again. Your edits should be picked up from the .xmp files. > Second problem is the Darktable database. > > 4) I assume that there is a database run with informations about film > rolls, collections etc. which I need to be able to copy, when I want > install a new computer (or a notebook instead of desktop).
