So here are three options I've worked out for how to move film rolls to a new folder: Option 1: * in the lighttable, select all of the images in the film roll, then use the "move" button in the "selected image[s]" module. Note that this will move only original images and .xmp files, leaving behind any other files/folders, so you'll need to manually move any darktable_exported sub-folders and so on if you want to keep them. Option 2: * move the folder outside darktable, then tell darktable about the update by: * in the "collect images" module, switch to folders view, then expand the tree to find the old folder name. Because you moved the folder outside darktable, it thinks the folder has been deleted so its name will be crossed out. * right click on crossed out folder, and do "search filmroll..." * navigate to and open the new folder and click open * note that there's currently a bug in darktable that means you have to restart darktable before the "collect images" module will update its list. Option 3: * remove all of the images from the film roll by using the "remove" button in the "selected image[s]" module in the lighttable, rename the folder outside darktable then use the "folder" button in the "import" module to re-import them. Make sure you don't use the "delete" button by mistake! Hope that helps.
