Hi,

I've seen there is a relatively low-cost version of the datacolor Spyder Color 
Checkr patches (24 patches, 50 €). Here's a documentation for the LAB and RGB 
values displayed:

I guess with these values, it would be possible to add support to Darktable? 
Maybe a module that allows one to select the upper right and lower left patch, 
and the rest is detected automagically?

There are recurring questions on the mailinglist about skin tones that are not 
quite right, base curves that don't match expectations etc. This might be an 
answer.
