Dear all.
I have posted this question in the Flickr group, but after it I thought
that it would be beter to publish it in the mailing list... I hope that
there will not be any problem duplicating the question...
Let me tell you that my english is far from being perfect... and I am very
far from being an expert linux user...
Said that, I'm very happy because, after a lot of reading and solving lots
of problems (for a neophite like me), I achieved to run the basecurves tool
found in the git repository.
I have read the README file and also followed this tutorial:
http://www.darktable.org/2013/10/about-basecurves/
<https://www.flickr.com/groups/darktable/discuss/72157646556830593/URL>
But now, when I try to import my custom generated Fuji X100 basecurve to
library.db, sqlite3 tells me the following error:
"Error: near line 1: table presets has no column named format"
After trying to understand what the command does, I decided to erase the
"format" value of the table, and I have been able to import the basecurve
to library.db... But now I'm stuck in two things:
- I thought that the basecurve would be in the Base Curve tool, and it is
listed in the Tone Curve Tool. Have I done anything wrong?
- And the worst thing: the new generated curve is blacked and says
"disabled: wrong module version".
- I also have lots of questions more, because, looking at my plots, it
seems that something is wrong... but that's another story.
I'm using Darktable 1.4.2 from the offical Ubuntu repository.
Hope anyone can help me.
