Hi everyone, I'm new to this list, but getting used to darktable, which I like alot! :-)
I'm fiddling with geotagging, and tried to get it working like Robert Hutton in his great video tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ab6qohOQURs&index=5&list=UUzzc6FwLfdgqdO2BPDc3eFw I manage to apply the time shift (I'm from Germany, Cologne, which should be the same timezone as Europe/Berlin, and the pics were takin in Istanbul, which should be GMT+2), darktable gives me a message that it changed a certain amount of pics, and I see the changes in the exif afterwards. But if I try to apply the GPX-file, it doesn't change the exif - only in one case out of about 50 the pic got geo locations. I tried to leave the timezone UTC, I changed it to Europe/Berlin while importing, with no effect. Maybe it's about the format of the GPX file? I dunno if I'm allowed to post attachements here, so excuse me for posting the content of it below inline. Could you guys have a look wether this file should work or not? I use PhotoTrackr with Android, which can save GPX1.1 directly, so I don't have to convert it like in Robs tutorial. But as the app is not as stable as I would like it to be, I'm thankful if you would recommend me another app. BTW, I use darktable 1.4 with debian, not self compiled.
