So I bought the fanless R9 270 (one of two last available in Germany!),
installed it to my computer. I had some hassle to get it running with
two monitors, disabling the onboard gpu in the bios setup helped alot.
darktable had still no OpenCL, installing fglrx (which comes with
fglrx-amdcccle, the catalyst control center, which I don't need) helped.
Is this the way you guys here with AMD GPUs do it? Or would you
recommend other drivers for better OpenCL performance?
And should I change parameters in darktablerc to utilize the cards
memory and other capabilities, or does dt run it good enough? I know the
parts of the user manual, but before I start investing a lot of time I
would be interested if you would recommend it.
