A raw file is about 25MB, which would go to
everyone on this list. Please confirm.

I did know this page, but I couldn't find
information about where to send larger portions
of data.

If the above page is current, referring to this
page:

https://encrypted.pcode.nl/blog/2010/06/28/darktable-camera-color-profiling/

from 2010, a correction may be needed:

The first recommendation for a color target is
the X-Rite ColorChecker Passport, which I
bought. The data which come with the described
tools are not able to identify the color
patches, and the XYZ/Lab data will lead to over
saturated images. Maybe I've got a more recent
version.

The X-Rite Website also provides Lab data (for
personal/educational use only) for half of
their patches. These data sets do not match, and
X-Rite data also don't work when used as
suggested in the article.

I contacted X-Rite for the correct data, but
Mr. W. Renner @ X-Rite complained about the
free software community reverse-engineering
their software such that they explicitly do not
wish their products to be used by free software.
Thus, it would be good to remove that
recommendation, as it seems that there are
better alternatives.

regards,
