Unfortunately, it took me too long to find out
(and more than two weeks for X-Rite to answer).

Mr. Renner insists that the product is a
combination of software and hardware.

As a matter of fact, it is. Hopefully this
message can help others avoid X-Rite products
feeding themselves with a daily pizza for two
weeks as a better investment.

I was tempted to get one of those, but the
problem with glare as described in the article
scared me off (I don't have a garden, and sun
is a rare guest at these latitudes).
