Same here. It isn't always easy to decide which is the correct gray,
without a known color as a reference. 

You might also use the pipette tool in geeqie instead of gimp, to cycle
through the versions with PgUp/PgDn. E.g. the block in the wall on the
left side, above the windshield, is noticeably warmer in your first
image than in your second. At one point, the pipette shows RGB values
of 182,182,182 for the first image while it shows 179,180,185 in the
second version. 

In my eyes the color cast isn't less in the third version. The
numbers seem to confirm this: If you look at the same block, the same
spot is now 177, 180, 187.

Of course, you are the photographer -- if you want to transport a cool
mood through some blue toning, that's your choice.
