I did and good thing I first backed up as I apparently borked it, and my
library.db.  But I did succeed in changing the location via sqlitebrouse,
but the images still appeared as "skulls".  So I copied the tags, deleted
the "skulls" and re-imported the images from the changed location.

All is now well, but I need better explanation of the procedure you
outline.
