I personnally start with 0, which for me means "unrated". Then, either I find the image reasonably good and it deserves at least one star, or I don't and I reject it ("rejected" means for me "I'll probably nevel look at it again, and I may delete it after a while if I need space on my hard disk). It's easy to filter 0-stars only images to see what's unrated (aka "the todolist"). > * I use the color marks for the development status red=nothing done but > want to edit, yellow=already treated but not finished or not satisfied > and green=done I use the darktable|exported tag for this : * not rejected and not exported = I have to deal with this image later * exported = I consider my work finished for this image, at least temporarily. I don't trust RAW for really long-term storage so I export all my pictures when I'm statisfied with them anyway. There's also a darktable|changed tag set automatically, so "darktable|changed and not darktable|exported" tells you the ongoing work. -- Matthieu Moy http://www-verimag.imag.fr/~moy/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dive into the World of Parallel Programming.
