I'm considering upgrading my old PC (Phenom 945, with 4GB of RAM) mostly for the sake of impriving DT's performance. I'm budget limited so it's going to be a second hand hardware. One thing to decide is the CPU. I'm considering either overlclocked i5 (2500k/3570k) or i7 3770 (no "k"). AS I understand the single-threaded perfromance is about on par or possibly slightly better for i5 (when overclocked). i7 however has an edge in multithreaded applications. To what extent will this be utilized by DT? Any comments wil be appreciated. :) Regards MZ PS.
