Hi, Roger Clark has written an interesting article about the correct processing of Canon RAW images:
http://www.clarkvision.com/articles/canon.raw.processing1/ "Processing Canon raw data similar to the above to manage offsets shows the full dynamic range of the camera and makes results similar to Nikon images which do not have offsets to deal with." Although I don't fully trust his conclusion, his workflow sounds interesting enough to try it out. I will start my own experimentation, but perhaps someone else already has managed to reproduce his workflow with dt? To be honest I don't fully understand the technicalities of his article.
