Yes, but that would indicate a problem between dt and opencl... A search of the archives will reveal may have problems with opencl and some even advise slower systems when using. Personally, my gts450 gives me a perceived 50% speed increase. And my gts450 is not an expensive card and only 1gb onboard. You may receive quicker and *better* support on irc, #darktable. The devs hang there.
