yes, of course. That's what I suspected as well, hence the debugging
output for opencl in my first mail. I should have stated my suspicion
more directly. Anyway, yes, there is some problem with opencl or
darktable connecting to opencl.

My card isn't high end, either. Anyway, for the speed to be of any
importance I'd expect that there should be a connection before those
problems start.

I didn't find this exact problem on this ML (which doesn't necessarily
mean that it wasn't discussed before).

Or on the dev list or with a redmine ticket.

My hope was, that this might be such a basic problem that only I wasn't
able to solve, that the user list might be of help.

We'll see.
