For me the best starting point were video tutorials on Youtube by Robert Hutton.

Hi, three questions I've got: * There are different ways to change how bright an image is, at least two are obvious: - `Contrast Brightness Saturation/brightness` and those listed in the manual there [1]. - `Exposure/exposure` Which one should I use for which task, i.e., what is the concept behind “changing brightness” as opposed to “changing exposure”? * Is there a way to view a picture in full screen, without the grey borders and the bright triangles? I know pressing Tab in Darkroom, but that leaves the borders visible. The slideshow thing seems not to work for me, but then a slideshow is not what I seek anyways... * I'm a bit overwhelmed by the possibilities. Does anyone have a good tutorial on how to approach image processing in general? Like “do this first on every picture, then that, then look for the following issues, ...” and so on?
